We take pride in our inclusive team, where individuals with varying abilities contribute their skills and creativity to every candle we produce. Each candle is a unique piece of art, reflecting the passion and hard work of our diverse Candle Creators. We believe that these small imperfections add to the charm and individuality of our candles, making each one truly special.
If you ever have concerns about a specific candle, or the imperfection is so great the candle cannot be enjoyed, please feel free to reach out to our support team, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Top Note:
The top note is the first impression you get when you light your candle. It’s the initial burst of fragrance that quickly fills the room. These scents are usually light and fresh, designed to capture your attention immediately. Common top notes include citrus, herbs, and light fruits. In our ‘Brunch’ candle, you might notice a bright, fruity aroma as the top note.
Middle Note:
After the top note dissipates, the middle note emerges, creating the heart of the candle’s fragrance. This layer is more complex and lasting than the top note, often including floral, fruity, or spicy scents. The middle note is what you will enjoy the most during the candle’s burn. For instance, our ‘Brunch’ candle has a delightful mix of light fruits that shine as the middle note, providing a fuller, richer fragrance experience.
Base Note:
Finally, the base note rounds out the fragrance and adds depth and staying power. These scents are typically rich and long-lasting, lingering long after the candle is extinguished. Common base notes include woods, musk, and vanilla. In our ‘Brunch’ candle, you’ll find the comforting and grounding notes that linger, giving the candle its signature lasting impression.
Together, these notes create a layered and evolving scent experience that makes our candles truly special. Enjoy discovering each layer as your candle burns and transforms the ambiance of your space!
1) Burning Duration: Our burn time estimates are based on a standard 4-hour burn session. Burning your candle for shorter or longer periods can affect the total burn time.
2) Wick Trimming: Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn. A longer wick can cause the candle to burn faster.
3) Environment: Drafty areas or places with inconsistent temperatures can cause the candle to burn unevenly and more quickly.
4) First Burn: Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container during the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling, which can shorten the overall burn time.
